Gemma Lacsamana was born on September 18, 1970, and raised in Manila. She pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in Interior Design at The Philippine Women’s University, although she did not complete her undergraduate studies. However, in recent years, she has found an avenue to apply her skills and has focused on creating charcoal portraits, which have also become her source of income to this day. This pursuit has opened numerous opportunities for her, including invitations to art exhibits where she can showcase her talent.
When the pandemic struck our country, Gemma took the opportunity to explore other artistic mediums such as acrylic, oil, and pastel. These mediums have also become sources of income for her, and she has participated in various art exhibits. Currently, she is actively involved in creating watercolor paintings.
