Reymert "Merto" Villasis

Reymert “Merto” Villasis is an artist from Tagaytay City. He graduated from Rogationist College with a degree in Graphic Arts and Printing Technology. He practiced editorial cartooning and was president of the visual club when he was in College. He also created murals and portraits to support his college expenses. 

He started tattooing right after he graduated while also accepting commissions. Despite his busy lifestyle, he always took time to volunteer as well. 

Metro is a self-taught artist that specializes in making portraits but continues to learn new techniques and styles by studying the works of Filipino art masters. 

His love for texture and for  Abstract Impressionism style lead him to his unique method and approach to his works. He is optimistic on his path in the art industry.
