Biography
Cecille Artillaga was born in Angono, Rizal, in 1970. Growing up with her mother, a teacher, and her father, an Automotive Plant Supervisor, her innate passion and enthusiasm for visual arts blossomed from a young age.
Cecille was always captivated by the lines, arches, and colors of the images around her, which motivated her to transfer those images onto her drawing pads during her time at Angono Elementary School. Her interest in the arts continued to flourish during her high school days at Siena College of Taytay.
She pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting at the University of Santo Tomas, graduating in 1991. While honing her skills as an artist, she was driven by her desire to inspire and assist young art enthusiasts. From 1991 to 2007, she also worked as an art teacher at St. Martin Montessori School, Inc., embodying her passion for education.
Throughout her artistic journey, Cecille's specialization in the Realism Art Style has reached new depths and heights. Clarity, vibrancy, and attention to detail have always been her guiding principles in creating her masterpieces.
