Biography
Born in 1974, in Taysan, Batangas, Celes "Onit" Untalan derived his first art inspiration from his father, who was talented in lettering. He grasped that learning and began to develop his love for arts at a very young age, being selected to join in school competitions and accepting various school works art the way for him to use his talent as a source of income while studying.
In the year 1999 to 2000, he became one of Sir Pol Mesina,Sir Andy Abu Urag, and Maestro Fernando Sena's student. He became a member of Sining Kulay at Tinta (SIKAT) art group and is currently a member of Artipolo group, both founded by Sir Pol Mesina. He is among tge artists who take part in various art exhibits throughout the country. His artistic talent also brought him to work in various fields of artistry, designer, styro artist, caravan auto painter, autocad operator, portraiture and mural painting. He is inspired by the works of Fernando Amorsolo, Elmer Borlongan, and Vladimir Volegov.
He has an undivided belief that art is a way for each and every artist not only to share his talent through the world but as a channel of helping the less fortunate and being a blessing to others.
