Cheryl M. Navarro

Cheryl is a self-taught artist who began painting in March 2017 while living in Seoul, South Korea. In 2016, she occasionally sketched with pencils, but it was only the following year that she started exploring paints as her primary medium—and she has not stopped since. To date, she has completed around 900 paintings, including commissioned works and pieces created for her YouTube tutorials. Many of her paintings are inspired by her life experiences, particularly her travels, the people she has met, the places she has visited, and the objects that hold special memories for her.

Cheryl continues to share her techniques and passion through YouTube tutorials, where she has garnered more than 18,000 subscribers. She has also conducted painting workshops and held exhibits in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs. In August 2023, Cheryl assumed her assignment at the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago, and she plans to pursue a full-time career as an artist in the near future.
