Gracie Maria

Gracie Maria's artistic journey is a tale of passion and discovery. While she first delved into the world of art by studying Fine Arts at the College of the Holy Spirit Manila and attending workshops at UP Diliman, her true adventure in painting began unexpectedly during the pandemic. With the help of YouTube tutorials, she bravely experimented with watercolor and acrylic paints, learning through trial and error.

As Gracie gained confidence, she eagerly sought out additional learning opportunities. Attending workshops organized by the Philippine Guild of Watercolorists and GK College, she absorbed techniques from experienced artists, deepening her love for painting.

Despite being relatively new to painting, Gracie's dedication drives her forward. Balancing her artistic pursuits with a full-time job, she treasures every moment she can spend creating.

Gracie's artwork has been showcased in various exhibits, including those by Art Show Philippines, the Philippine Guild of Watercolorists, and GK College. In 2023, she bravely joined the GSIS National Art Contest, embracing the challenge and gaining valuable experience. Her work was also honored with inclusion in the online exhibit of the Japan International Watercolor Institute and the Philippine Guild of Watercolorists's juried art exhibit, which came as a delightful surprise and validation of her budding talent.

Specializing in portraits, Gracie finds joy in capturing emotions and fleeting moments on paper. In addition to her projects, Gracie also accepts watercolor portrait commissions. Despite her continuous growth as an artist, she remains humble and committed to her craft.
