I am an artist with a deep passion for the arts, specializing in painting on canvas or vellum board using various mediums such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor.

I am a member of the IRINUGYON Artists Group in Kidapawan and the GAMA of the Davao Region. Throughout my journey, I have dedicated myself to honing my artistic skills and exploring different avenues for self-expression. My artistic achievements began during my college years, when I became actively involved in our school’s intramurals, specifically SIDLAK. Representing our department, I participated in the on-the-spot painting contest and charcoal rendering contest, where I consistently secured first place over the years. These experiences not only showcased my talent but also instilled in me a sense of pride and fulfillment.

In my relentless pursuit of artistic growth, I attended the Lunang Mentoring Seminar in Davao, a distinguished gathering led by Mr. Kublai Millan alongside other esteemed artists from Mindanao. This opportunity allowed me to learn from the best in the field and gain invaluable insights into the world of art. I also took part in the Kalinangan Summer Workshop at Dilangalen National High School, under the guidance of Mr. Rj Perez and Mr. Joselito Jimenez. The workshop served as a catalyst for refining my artistic techniques and exploring novel styles and approaches. It provided me with a platform to nurture my creative abilities and push the boundaries of my artistic expression. As a testament to my unwavering dedication and talent, I have been honored with numerous accolades and awards.

I also participated in the Second LAPYA On-the-Spot Painting Competition and the Alamada Art Festival On-the-Spot Painting Competition, triumphing as the first prize winner in both events. Additionally, I participated in Mindanao Art 2022-2023 and Exhibit in Batasang Pambansa. These achievements served as affirmations of my artistic capabilities and motivated me to push further.

The recognition of my art extended beyond local competitions. My art pieces have graced the pages of esteemed publications, including the renowned SunStar Davao and the esteemed Philippine Star. Such significant exposure has allowed my work to reach a broader audience, captivating the hearts of art enthusiasts and garnering appreciation from discerning critics alike. In addition, I had the honor of being selected and featured in the book “Sa Piling Ni Nanay” in Manila, which further elevated my artistic presence. Inspired by Mr. Millan’s encouragement, I took part in the Mindanao Art Exhibition, the most prominent art showcase in the region. This experience allowed me to display my work alongside renowned artists, establishing my reputation within the local art community. To top it off, I was chosen as the representative not only for our region but for the entirety of Mindanao in the prestigious Sentro Artista Philippines art exhibition held in Luzon. This wonderful opportunity not only contributed to boosting my recognition as an artist but also opened up avenues for me to connect with and interact with talented artists from different corners of the country. Through these meaningful engagements, my artistic horizons expanded, allowing me to explore new perspectives and approaches to my craft.

As an artist, I strive to create captivating and meaningful artworks that resonate with viewers on an emotional level. My passion for painting, combined with my continuous exploration of different mediums and styles, enables me to express my artistic vision in a unique and evocative manner. Moving forward, I aspire to continue pushing boundaries, experimenting with new techniques, and participating in exhibitions and events that showcase the richness and diversity of the Philippine art scene. I am committed to furthering my artistic journey and leaving a lasting impact through my creation.
