Biography
Lander Blaza is a multidisciplinary artist whose ton of experience under his belt is astonishing. He attended the University of the East School of Fine Arts and has developed his distinctive style, which he calls "translayering," a coined word from transparent and layering. He is the former senior designer of the popular JAG Jeans and the creator of the now-famous CRISSA Ladies Jeans and many other branded apparel items in the local and international markets. He was based in Hong Kong for nine years as the Product Development Manager at Tiongshan International Apparel, which produces the American brand True Religion Jeans and, lately, the Grizzly Junior Jeans for the local market.
He returned to the Philippines in 2009 and established LPB Arthaus, whose main activity is organizing art exhibits at well-known galleries and at popular malls. As he was creating exhibitions, he was lucky to gain awards from prestigious art competitions both locally and internationally.
He created over a hundred group art exhibitions locally and six internationally, including in countries like Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the UK, and Italy.
