Biography
Laura’s artistic journey began in her youth, where her passion for drawing first took root. Determined to refine her craft, she pursued formal training under Maestro Fernando Sena at the UP Vargas Museum in 2019. Under his mentorship, she developed strong foundations in both traditional and contemporary techniques across various media, building a solid technical base for her artistic practice.
Her works reflect a balance of versatility and discipline, combining careful detail with expressive depth. Across multiple exhibitions, her pieces have been recognized for their clarity of form and thoughtful execution each artwork serving as a testament to her commitment to continuous growth and enduring passion for the visual arts.
Beyond painting, Laura’s creativity extends into music. She studied at the University of the Philippines College of Music and worked as a Music and Movement teacher, composing interactive songs designed to engage young learners. Today, she continues her musical practice through liturgical compositions and active service in her local Music Ministry.
Her academic path also led her to the University of Santo Tomas, where she earned a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and placed 3rd in the national board examinations. She is a Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian in the Philippines and a Registered Dietitian in the United States. This dual vocation reflects her dedication to service nurturing both creative expression and the well-being of others.
Laura’s life harmonizes art, music, and health into a unified expression of discipline, versatility, and service. Through her visual works, musical contributions, and professional practice, she continues to inspire growth, creativity, and care in every endeavor.
