Biography
Lloyd B. Lusica was born in Guindulman, Bohol. He attended the University of Bohol, College of Architecture, and Fine Arts, majoring in advertising. He moved to Manila in 2012 and started participating in a number of group shows. He held his first solo exhibition, entitled “unboxed thoughts” at Gallery Alvero in Quezon City, Philippines. A professional painter, he paints full-time at his atelier in Makati City, where he also lives. Lloyd paints contemporary art. He has exhibited nationally and internationally. participated in group shows in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, China, Japan, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Hanoi, Vietnam, Antalya, Turkey, Dubai, and Atlantis the Palm.
He feels blessed to be widely written, covered, and published in the arts, lifestyles, and entertainment sections of several Philippine broadsheet newspaper dailies and Filipino artist magazines, wherein his paintings were recently featured on the inside-back cover of the publication. His artworks are in some of the most exclusive collections, and in the last couple of years, they have been professionally and exclusively managed.
