Madonna Bacorro, a.k.a. Maddie Bacs, is a self-taught artist who is a Family Medicine Doctor and a Palliative Specialist. At first, painting was just a hobby for her and a way for her to relax. Eventually, after having met a number of professional and serious artists in the field, she took the challenge in honing this God-given talent as an artist, joining several online exhibitions like ARTShow Philippines, GreySpace gallery, Kurit gallery, The Filipino Art and Kaya gallery, to name a few. She also attended art shows for a cause like Hope in Abyss with Philippine Society of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She has also joined national contests as a participant in the recent GSIS national art competition 2021 where 2 of here entries in the representational and non-representational category were included: " Dharma" and "Humanity Unmasked", respectively and her painting entitled PPE of frontliners was featured as cover in the Indian Journal of Family Medicine and Primary Care.
Just recently, she has been one of the artist contributors to the art magazine, Novice O3. She had her 1st physical exhibit as well, during the "World Family Doctors' Day" when she was invited by the Tondo Medical Center Department of Family and Community Medicine to showcase all her paintings and conduct a stress-therapy art session. With all of these ,it cannot be denied that Madonna has been serious in her art craft,
