Biography
Ever since she was in elementary, she has shown a great interest in art. She joined the art competition when she was in Grade 6 and won the first place in district and regional contests in Laguna.
When she was in high school, she began honing her painting skills as she helped her parents with their handcrafted coconut business. She painted coconut shells that were being imported in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, USA and Japan. She loves painting seascapes, landscapes, women, still life and flowers.
She was supposed to take BFA but the universities offering the course were far from Laguna. She pursued and finished BS Chemistry at UP Los Baños instead.
She is a Secondary faculty member and teaches Integrated Science, Earth Science and Chemistry.
Her love for art, especially acrylic painting, was once again awaken when the pandemic started. And now she's been making around four to five acrylic paintings in a month. This is her sweet escape; this is where she finds comfort and peace.
