Rara Carrillo

Rara Carrillo was born in Zamboanga. She learned jewelry design, painting, and wood carving from her family. Later on, she took art workshops in Manila, then learned pyrography at NBP Muntinlupa. She studied fine arts at PWU. She had art exhibits in the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands, Buenos Aires, Paris, London, and here in the Philippines. She works in advertising, branding, and as a marketing art director. She feels that motherhood is her best accomplishment.

Rara loves learning about art; mindfulness, spirituality, wood burning, wood carving, and painting on wood are her favorite art techniques. Nature and culture are her favorite themes.
