Rodolfo Samonte is a versatile visual artist hailing from Manila, Philippines. As a painter, printmaker, photographer, and digital artist, he weaves intricate narratives through his diverse works. Early Years and Education
Rodolfo Samonte was born in Ermita, Manila, in 1941. He pursued his passion for art by studying at the University of Santo Tomas, where he honed his skills under the guidance of masters Galo Ocampo and Cenon Rivera. Samonte's dedication led him to explore various artistic techniques, including printmaking, which he later studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York and commercial lithography in Cleveland.
