Biography
Ruben Perdiguerra is the youngest of five children born to Pedro and Marciana Perdiguerra, a family deeply rooted in farming and fishing. Though he initially pursued a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, his true passions led him towards advertising and painting. Currently residing at Binangonan, Rizal, he operates an art gallery from this location.
Throughout his career, he has held various roles, including artist designer at Lazo Designs in Quezon City since 2001, artist at Holy Family Museums in Antipolo Rizal from 2007 to 2018, artist designer at Jandros Gallery in Guadalupe Makati from 1997 to 2005, artist at Perspective Plus in Quezon City from 1994 to 1995, and airbrush artist at Metro Incorporated in Mandaluyong City from 1989 to 1993.
As a self-taught artist, he embarked on his artistic journey in 1988, mastering skills in airbrush painting, sculpture, and carving. Beyond visual arts, he also delved into writing, contributing poems, song lyrics, and short stories to Liwayway Publishing. His painting style seamlessly blends contemporary, modern art, and cubism, while his artistic explorations extend to crafts, miniature arts, and sculpture.
