Biography
Sabel Devulder (also known as Valerie Isabel C. Devulder) paints mostly in traditional art forms, as she expresses her art mainly in nature.
Sabel came from a family of artists and follows her family's talent with artistic background; her Aunt happens to be the official portrait artist of former Philippine presidents from Noynoy Aquino III, Joseph Estrada, Fidel Ramos, and Corazon Aquino, and the latest is President Bongbong Marcos Jr.
Additional to that, Sabel's grandfather, known as Francisco V. Coching, was a Filipino comic books illustrator and writer and is regarded as one of the “pillars of the Philippine Komiks Industry”. He served as both illustrator and writer for his comic book stories, Coching is referred to as the "King of Komiks", and as the "Dean of Philippine Comics".
