Biography
Simon Casis is a 21-year-old musician and visual artist from Quezon City. A student of
B.S. Economics at the University of the Philippines in Los Banos (UPLB), he is the youngest
member of the Dynamic Art Group (DAG), an eclectic collective of renowned and
emerging artists which holds regular exhibitions in various galleries across Metro Manila.
He sees art as an extension of the same freedom that defines his music. He explains:
“Music and art are universal languages intrinsic to the human experience. As a musician shaped
by many genres and styles, I carry that same sense of freedom into my art. The pattern of beats, the
movement, the mood or feeling generated by the melody and lyrics – these are the driving force of
my creativity. My challenge is to transfer all these things on canvas.”
While a relatively new entrant to the art scene, collectors have already taken notice of
Simon’s raw talent. His works have been exhibited at the GSIS Museum in Pasay City,
Philippine Heart Center THeart Gallery in Quezon City, Passion Arts Gallery in SM
Megamall, Gateway Gallery in Cubao, F.B. Sena Buenas Artes Gallery and Daloy Likha
Art Gallery, both in Quezon City, and LRI Design Plaza, in Makati. His works had also
been featured at the “Urbino in Aquarello,” an International Art Festival held in Urbino,
Italy in May 2025 and May 2026.
