Ariel Villalobos is a graduate of Feati University (BFA) and currently lives in Las Pinas. He is fascinated with creating artwork, mostly on old or discarded wood. He takes inspiration from artists such as Francis Bacon, Zdislaw Beksinski, Fernando Botero, and Manabu Ikeda.

 

He also dabbles in pen art and loves the movies of Akira Kurosawa and Toshiro Mifune. His preferred medium is oil, and his ongoing body of work demonstrates how fascinated he is with people's cynicism.
