James Sanorjo Jr. is a Bicolano artist, born in 1970 in Irigia City but raised in Legaspi City. He graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education with a Major in Drafting Technology from Bicol University, Legaspi City.
He ventured to Manila and Rizal to pursue a career as a production artist, visual artist, designer, and draftsman. He was also a teacher at Taytay United Methodist Christian School for 22 years and continued his love for art during his free time.
He focuses on the modernist style that depicts Filipino scenes and uses techniques such as impasto, zentangle, and the use of vibrant colors.
