Michael Angelo Escorpeso or also known as MICO Escorpeso is visual artist or the Abstract Rose Artist Of The Philippines recognized for his distinct "Abstract Rose." Style.  Graduated from Far Eastern University in Manila with a bachelor degree of fine arts major in studio arts. Non-representational art is his forte, abstraction-stained glass style with bold outlines and colorful bright palettes. MICO’s signature rose appears in all of his artworks, marking his identity and serving as the final touch in each piece. His admiration for colors and shapes builds up his style. The use of bright colors paired with pastel and black is what makes his color palette. 

 

 

MICO has been part of many local and national competitions, such as the Annual Shell Competition, Vision Petron, Metrobank MADE where MICO made it to the Semi Finalist Of MADE 2022 and GSIS National Competition Where he is one of the finalist of GSIS 2023 and Tarlac National Art Competition 2024 Non Representational Category. He Also Joins in a lot of school competitions as he made it into the finalist of UST on the spot Art competition 2025.He also took part in CEVIO Art Hauz gallery, Aral Artist Community, UP Circle Artist Fraternity, Art in The Park, Dry Brush Gallery, Gallery Z Manila, White Walls gallery, VMeme Gallery, Obra Galeria, Imahica Art Gallery, 1159 Creative Space, Art Lounge Manila, Gateway Gallery, Fundacion Sanso, Pugad Ni Art Studio, Gallerie Anna, Art Elaan and many local art events in the Philippines. He is awarded as one of the top selling Artist of Art Show Philippines Gallery 2021-2022 and 2022-2023.
