Born and raised in Tanza, Cavite, Rowena "Owie" Balita is a Certified Public Accountant by profession and a self-taught artist. In 2018, she left the corporate world and started creating original rock paintings with imprinted inspirational quotes, with the intention of inspiring others.

In 2019, she was given the opportunity to join an art exhibit, and that paved the way for her new career in the arts field. Her art style is concentrated on abstraction and impressionism in acrylic.
