Raneil Ibay is an artist by heart and a photographer by profession. He is a former member of the Framed Shots Camera Club, AGWA: Filipino League of Watercolorists, ACEO (Art Cards, Editions, and Originals) Philippines, and Art Show Philippines. As a photographer, his works have appeared in Mega Magazine, Meg, Appetite, Blue Print, My Home, Lifestyle Asia, Celebrity Living, Girlfriend Fudge Magazine, Health Today, Moms Today, Preview, People Asia, Metro Society, Metro Home, Wood Living, and Manila Bulletin.

He has been placed three times in the Top 10 list of photographers by the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation, in addition to winning other photography awards. He also did photography work for coffee table book projects like the Department of Foreign Affairs' Pasaporte, A Journey of a Hundred Years, the National Power Corporation's Watersheds, Sheltering Life, Aboitiz Equity Ventures' 88 Philippine Native Trees, and NIA at 50, Legacy, among others.

As both an artist and a photographer, his work has been exhibited in Museo Rizal, Museo Valenzuela, Backroom Creative Space, Sentro Artista, Robinson's ARTablado, FAME Mall, SM City North Edsa, Fora Mall, and Art Show Philippines' online gallery. He has been published in Art Show Philippines' Plein Air and Sentro Artista's Pintaga: Linya-linya ng Pagsinta coffeetable books. He has received Honorable Mention Professional Category for the first Yelcast Visual Poetry National Painting.
