Row Bean Paz Graduated Batch ‘94 at Technological University of the Philippines and took up a Bachelor of Fine arts - Advertising Arts. He was introduced to commercial art at early age and had his own advertising signage and printing business before entering College and continued working while studying until I graduated. He then was hired as a Background artist at Philippine Animation Studio Inc. (PASI) where he learned and was exposed to more manual acrylic rendering.
He was then hired at ABS-CBN as a visual artist . He was then promoted to Assistant Leadman ( asst. head) then in 1996 he was tapped by his previous boss during his college days to handle his Advertising business as an Art Director. Since then, he has been working on DIPIC as an art director for more than 25 years. He then returned to painting after the persuasion of his colleagues. “ Anong gagawin nyo pag nagretire na kayo? Basa basa lang ng dyaryo? Saka kayo magpipinta pag di nyo na kaya? These were the exact words that used to re-awaken his love for painting, that was in 2019. Since then, he has been active on local art exhibitions, physical and on-line shows.
His personal influence as a visual artist is Salvador Dali and fond on working on Surreal themes and mixed media. “Parang kulang kapag pinta lang ang pyesa ko, gusto salpakan ng mga bagay bagay”
